TCC’s Giving Tree is an annual project that strives to love and serve individuals in our community. We do this by meeting physical needs and partnering with local organizations during the Christmas season. The 2024 Giving Tree efforts include partnerships with Riverside Developmental Disabilities and Seeds Of Hope, both in the Troy community. We also bless some our own TCC families with current needs. We invite you to join our Giving Tree efforts with these easy steps:

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Select a gift request tag

Tags available beginning November 3rd during the TCC Harvest Banquet at our Giving Tree display

  2. Fulfill the gift request by purchasing the listed items

Each request includes age, gender, preferences and sizes

  3. Pray for the individual who will receive the gift

“Let your light shine before man so that they may see your good deeds and praise the Father.” Matt. 5:16. Your gift shines a light!

  4. Return completed gift to TCC

Before or after services November 10, 17, 24, or December 1st

Our Giving Tree team will sort/organize gifts before delivery to our partnering organizations

FAQ

When and where can I select a gift request tag?

November 3-24 visit our Giving Tree display located in the main lobby to select a physical gift request tag.

What do I do with the gift tag I selected?

You NEED that tag! It lists everything you need to know to fulfill your gift request AND it serves as a gift identification. Simply cut on the line and attach the LEFT side to your gift. ONLY the left side. Please tape or tie it on well.

Do I need to wrap the gift I purchased?

Yes and for all gifts, be sure to attach the left side of the gift request tag to the gift. This will ensure the gift goes to the correct individual.

Can I purchase additional items not listed on the gift request tag?

While appreciated, that is not necessary. There are sometime multiple individuals in one household or family. We would hate to see one person receive “extra” gifts and another not.

Can I include a personal note in the gift?

While we LOVE your heart and desire to make the gift personal, we ask that you do NOT include a personal note to the recipient. A majority of the gifts received are understood to be from a parent, family member, friend or even Santa. A personal note could alter that surprise. We do strongly encourage you to personally pray over each gift and for the precious recipient.

When and where do I return my wrapped gift?

Completed gifts need to be returned by Sunday, December 1. Gifts can be returned to the church on the Sundays of November 10, 17, 24 and December 1 before and after service.

*Large Object Requests have specific drop off instructions*
